I was excited to try this place out. I've heard good reviews on a Facebook group I belong to for community restaurants. I was very pleased with my pho brisket. I thought the broth was delicious! My lunch companion enjoyed his as well. We definitely will be coming back. We didn't try the rice or egg rolls, but the table next to us did and they gave good compliments on it. The server Jacob was fantastic. Food was good, pricing was fair and service was great. There were only three tables being served so hopefully try it out. We will be going back. I'm not saying it's my favorite pho place in Bakersfield or the best... But we enjoyed our pho

I was very excited to try this place. I was thinking, "Oh cool! A new pho place near home." I was excited, i love Pho. Unfortunately this spot didn't live up to my expectations. The broth was very dark and salty, not clear whatsoever. I order the combination pho which was described with Brisket, tendon, meatball, and bone marrow. First off it wasn't Brisket, it was ox tail. The meatball was chewy, and the tendon was cut into very very small chucks which had no texture. Lastly the bone marrow was overly salty. I could see the extra salt they put on the marrow. I just wasn't impressed nor satisfied. I also ordered their egg rolls and spring rolls. The meat inside the egg roll was also very salty. The spring roll was boring. I do not know if shrimp is their only meat choice for the spring rolls but it was bland without the peanut sauce, which I think the sauce was generic. My favorite item I received from my visit there was the Thai Tea.

The absolute worst pho I ever had. They say their broth takes 10 hrs to cook but still taste like dirty rag water. It has no flavor. I had to spit out the meatballs. They looked undercooked and we’re cold when I took a bite. The spring rolls had a funky texture to them. This is probably the worst pho in the whole world. I can make better pho and I don’t even know how to make pho. I’m glad they closed. You can’t serve nasty food. Make sure everything in your menu is good before you sell it to the public. On tope of all this it was pricey. Worst $50 I ever spent.

The server was nice and the water was decent but that is about it. As a pho enthusiast, I was thrilled to experience a new Vietnamese restaurant in town, eager to indulge in a steaming bowl of flavorful and authentic pho. However, my culinary adventure turned out to be a major disappointment, leaving me with an unpleasant taste and a longing for a truly genuine pho experience. First and foremost, the lack of authenticity was evident from the moment I read the menu. The amount of grammatical errors, incorrect dish names on the menu set off my alarm bells. Unfortunately, the horror didn't stop there. The moment the bowls came, I was shocked to see the murky unappetizing broth. As soon as I took the first sip of the pho broth, my taste buds were assaulted by an overwhelming chemical aftertaste reminiscent of soapy water. It was an inexplicable and offensive flavor that was truly unpleasant. A good pho broth should be clear, rich, savory, and bring together harmonious flavors, but this one left me feeling like I was consuming a dishwashing liquid instead. I was excited to try this new Vietnamese restaurant in town, but the quality of food here was terrible. It was the worst Pho that I've ever tried in my life. The broth tasted so bland and weird, the meat was meh, the herbs were all wrong .....Basically, it tasted nothing like Pho at all. Ask any Vietnamese person and he/she will be disgusted by this Pho. I left the whole bowl untouched, such a waste of money! Also, the other dishes weren't good either, but they were at least edible... Lastly, the menu was full of typo (we should have left the moment we looked at the menu tbh). Please don't eat here and think this is how Vietnamese food taste like :(
